Measurement tips
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust while keeping the tape level.
Waist
Measure around the natural waistline without pulling the tape too tight.
Bodice length
Measure vertically from the shoulder or neckline reference point to the waistline.
Armhole depth
Measure the vertical depth needed for the armhole. This affects comfort and movement.

How these inputs affect this pattern
Use the notes below to understand which measurements shape the draft, which options change construction, and what should be measured again when values conflict. Presets are starting points; the submitted values drive the result.
Bust, waist, lengths, shoulder and armhole
Bust and ease establish the upper width; waist controls suppression and dart intake. Separate front and back lengths, shoulder length, armhole depth, and neckline depth establish vertical balance and the upper contour.
Soft, regular or strong waist shaping
The shaping option distributes suppression between the side seam and darts. Armhole adjustment and contouring provide additional control for sleeveless or closer-fitting variations.
