Step 1

Measurements

Enter your measurements

Fill in the first set of values for the basic skirt builder.

Important fit note

Patterns generated by Nastix Patterns are drafting guides based on your measurements and selected settings.

We strongly recommend making a test version (muslin / toile) and checking the fit before cutting final fabric.

Different fabrics, body proportions, and sewing preferences may require manual adjustments.

Choose a standard size to prefill the measurements, then adjust anything you need.

Recommended: 1 dart for simpler basic blocks, 2 darts for stronger shaping.

Advanced options

Useful for longer or more fitted skirts.

Adjust the hem shape up to 4.0 cm. Use negative values for tapering and positive values for flare.

Use a stronger shaping level when the waist-to-hip difference is larger.

Recommendations

Two back darts are recommended for a stronger waist-to-hip shaping.

Measurement tips
Waist
Measure around the natural waistline. Keep the tape level and close to the body, but not tight.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat. This is usually lower than the waistline.
Waist to hip
Measure vertically from the waistline down to the fullest hip level.
Length
Measure vertically from the waistline down to the desired hem position.
