The 32 cm bicep plus 6 cm ease produces a 38.0 cm sleeve width. The long-sleeve hem is calculated at 19.1 cm from the 17 cm wrist and part of the selected ease.

The cap rises 14.0 cm above the bicep line. Its two generated Bézier curves measure 48.0 cm in total; compare that seam length with the complete garment armhole and the intended cap ease.

Arm length and wrist set the lower sleeve; bicep plus ease controls upper-arm room. Elbow length positions the guide, while cap height controls the height and curvature of the sleeve head.

Test upper-arm room and movement

Make a test sleeve in similar fabric and check bicep ease, cap height, shoulder mobility, elbow position, wrist width, and the direction of the grainline with the actual garment body.

Print at actual size or 100% with page scaling disabled and measure the test square first. Use tiled A4 at home, copyshop PDF for a full-size sheet, or SVG for vector editing.

This generator is maintained as application code: measurements are converted into vector geometry, related seams are measured numerically where the construction requires it, and the same geometry is used for preview, SVG, copyshop PDF, and tiled A4 PDF.

No. Armholes vary by garment and size. Measure the complete front and back armhole seam, compare it with the sleeve-cap seam, and test the assembled sleeve before cutting final fabric.

How should I print the A4 sleeve pattern?

Select actual size or 100%, disable fit-to-page scaling, and measure the 5 × 5 cm test square before trimming and joining the tiled pages.
