The generator uses arm length and circumferences, cap height, ease, and sleeve type to draft a symmetrical one-piece sleeve. Use these notes to measure accurately, check compatibility with the intended armhole, and print at full scale.
The export contains a complete symmetrical sleeve piece with sleeve-cap and underarm seams, grainline, bicep and elbow guides, hem line, selected allowances, notches, and a 5 × 5 cm print test square.
Arm length and wrist set the lower sleeve; bicep plus ease controls upper-arm room. Elbow length positions the guide, while cap height controls the height and curvature of the sleeve head.
Presets provide practical starting values for length, ease, and cap shape. Each measurement remains editable, so the sleeve is recalculated instead of scaled from a fixed-size pattern.
A sleeve must sew into a specific bodice or dress armhole. Compare the sleeve-cap seam length with the complete front and back armhole seam, account for the intended ease, and adjust before cutting fabric.
