What do hood height and depth control?

Neckline ease adds a small amount to the attachment seam for a softer hood. Confirm the final seam against the garment before sewing.
How should I print the A4 hood pattern?
Print at actual size or 100%, turn off page fitting, and confirm that the test square measures exactly 5 × 5 cm.
