Before generating
Use the notes below to understand which measurements shape the draft, which options change construction, and what should be measured again when values conflict. Presets are starting points; the submitted values drive the result.
The export includes the seam and cutting lines, fold line for straight styles, curved edges for contoured styles, overlap guide, button marker where applicable, seam allowance, labels, and a 5 × 5 cm test square.
Use the garment waist seam as the main length target. Finished width controls waistband depth, ease changes tightness, and overlap adds the extension required for a button or hook closure.
Straight waistbands fold into a rectangle; contoured bands use curve depth and are cut as shaped layers. Elastic and extended-overlap presets provide starting settings for pull-on and closure constructions.
